Responsibility for the people

"For us, it is important to provide targeted help where we can support people the most," say managing directors Andreas and Thomas Iser. That's why carefully selected projects are supported, both regionally and nationally. "There is so much suffering in the world that it is sometimes forgotten that you can also help directly in your own neighborhood," says Gabriele Iser, who is involved in this area, explaining the dual approach. This is why, for example, A. T. Iser has been a loyal partner of the Sindelfingen-based aid organization "Neighbors in Need" for years, as well as the Sindelfingen-Böblingen Hospice Association, which is scheduled to open in 2024.

Another constant was added in January 2023: support for the food banks in the Sindelfingen area with a monthly food donation. "The food banks perform an important social function and can use all the help they can get right now. That's why we wanted to do our part," says Thomas Iser. His wife Gabriele adds, "Just as we are for our customers, we also want to be a reliable partner for the social institutions and have decided to support them on a permanent basis."

In addition to the constants, however, there are also individual campaigns to be able to help situationally. The spectrum ranges from food deliveries for people in Ukraine to a major donation to the Stuttgart children's hospice at the time of the ground-breaking ceremony, to a commitment to Aktion Mensch, to ball donations for a soccer club. "It is important to us to go through the world with our eyes open and to support people to the best of our ability when we see an opportunity that convinces us," all the Isers explain unanimously. After all, it's always about people doing as well as possible - in the A. T. Iser family business, but also beyond.
